Summertime in the South brings plenty of warm, sunny days and the occasional chance of an afternoon shower – or an all-out downpour. And while that fickle weather forecast could keep a bride up at night, we’re here to prove there’s no cause for alarm.
Through threat of rain, thunder and yes, even tornado or tropical storm, we are thankful for our team of PPHG event pros and the local coordinators who spring to action on behalf of the couples who place their trust in us to weather the storm.
A tropical storm did nothing to dampen spirits ahead of this weekend’s William Aiken House wedding. With rain boots on and umbrellas in hand, Patrick Properties event manager Jackie and the coordination team quickly assembled tents, revised game plans and carried on a celebration that drew raves (and a heartfelt champagne toast) from the bride, groom and all of their guests.
Then there’s this stunner, led by PPHG event manager Haley. Who could predict the day’s wet forecast would offer some of the most impossibly romantic photos we’ve seen yet?
It turns out, there’s a silver lining to any rain cloud – especially on your wedding day.
