Brunch: is there any weekend ritual more revered here in the South? From leisurely get-together to the elegant champagne soiree, Charlestonians make the most of this mid-morning meal – and if you’re planning a destination wedding in Charleston, it’s a tradition worth sharing with your out-of-town guests.

In wedding etiquette, the ceremony rehearsal is typically followed by a dinner for the wedding party and immediate family. However, many venues in Charleston require morning rehearsals on weekend dates – leaving a lot of time to fill between events.

Why wait until the evening to celebrate? With a flexible window from late morning to early afternoon, a rehearsal brunch or luncheon is a perfect fit for your guests – and a great alternative to competing with the rest of Charleston’s dinner crowd for restaurant space!

Speaking of your venue, here’s why our couples love daytime celebrations at Fish Restaurant:

Private space – evening dining hours mean that the entire venue is open to you – and only you. With no other parties to contend with, every aspect of the décor, menu and service can be personally tailored to your celebration.

Flexibility – Fish offers private space for groups of any size, from an intimate bridal brunch in the alcove to formal rehearsal luncheons or welcome receptions in the upstairs dining room. Guests love the uniquely Charleston ambiance of our open-air piazza (ideal for leisurely cocktails and mimosas!).

Convenience – Did we mention that Fish is literally steps from two of our venues, The William Aiken House and The American Theater? You can’t beat that commute following your ceremony rehearsal!

Beyond the unbeatable space, you’ll enjoy a gourmet brunch or luncheon prepared by Chef Nico Romo and our renowned Patrick Properties culinary team. Bloody Mary bars and signature cocktails, savory Southern favorites like shrimp & grits and fried green tomatoes, sweet indulgences from our bakery – the only challenge will be how to choose!
