  • Where do our guests park? 

    At Lowndes Grove Plantation, on-site parking is available for events with less than 150 guests and parking attendants are required. For events with more than 150 guests, off-site arrangements and shuttles may be necessary.  The William Aiken House, the American Theater and FISH all are in the design district of Charleston, with parking available on the street as well as in nearby garages and lots.

  • Do we have to hire a wedding coordinator who is not affiliated with Patrick Properties? 

    There are so many details to arrange between the band and florist, rentals and seating charts,  the last thing you want to be thinking of on your special day are the vendors and their needs. While our Event Managers are focusing on your food and beverage set-up, you will want someone to coordinate your band, florist, bridal party, etc. to make certain that all the details come together beautifully!

  • I’m ready to book!  How do I schedule a site visit and reserve my date? 

    Please call our Sales Office at 843-853-1810 to request information on our properties and to schedule a time to tour.  You will work with your Sales Manager to place your desired date on hold once you have toured the property and read our guidelines and information.  A date is confirmed with a signed contract and venue rental fee. 

  • What amount of time are we allowed to utilize the property? 

    Your rental fee is for a four-hour event; set-up and two hours of break down.  Should you desire to host your ceremony on-site and/or extend the reception beyond the standard four hours, you will incur additional charges of $500 per hour.

  • What is the difference between an Event Manager and a Wedding Planner? 

    A Wedding Planner is someone that works directly for you to assist with planning the multiple facets of your wedding, including the ceremony. They will work directly with your vendors to ensure that all details come together for your event. An Event Manager is on the staff of Patrick Properties Events. They coordinate all aspects of the food and beverage portion of your event as well as representing the venue. 

  • What is included in the Venue Rental Fee? 

    Rates include rental of the house and grounds for a four hour event, plus set-up and two hours of break down.

  • Can I bring in my own caterer? 

    Fish exclusively provides all food and beverage for our properties, providing flawless, fresh, restaurant-caliber cuisine overseen by French Master Chef Nico Romo. We are happy to provide menu consultations on-site or by email to create your vision of a perfect celebration!  PDF’s are available for download or you can contact us directly for more information.
