Bright Ideas

In Charleston, we are so fortunate to work with such a talented group of industry vendors and coordinators. The best part of our job is getting to see each bride’s unique vision for our venues come to life.

With no two weddings being the same, lighting is often a defining factor across our four historic properties. From gobos in The American Theater to string bulb lighting along the oak-lined banks of the Ashley River at Lowndes Grove, illumination sets the mood for a bride’s dream reception.

When it comes to choosing lighting, our event pros stress creativity is key! Well-lit spaces guarantee a perfectly coordinated outside reception transforms into the ideal dreamy affair, even after the sun has gone down. Choosing the right glamorous chandelier or one-of-a-kind lantern is just as important as every other aspect of a bride’s décor. We are happy to share a few bright ideas that are sure to illuminate the smiles of everyone on your guest list!
