Dare to Pair

We had so much fun with last week’s man-approved menus, we just couldn’t help ourselves in spotlighting another favorite food trend brought to life by our celebrated chef and team of imaginative event experts! Sorry mom – this week, we’re giving you permission to play with your food, with handcrafted beverages and signature dishes as perfectly paired as the new Mr. & Mrs!

Andrea and Jeremy’s wedding at historic Lowndes Grove is the perfect inspiration. With a smaller guest count and some big ideas, these foodies wanted a menu as lively and diverse as their palates. The bride and groom worked closely with the PPHG team to craft a wedding day menu that featured four different stations uniquely paired with a complimentary sip. The result? An unforgettable presentation as charming as it was delicious, if we do say so ourselves!

Guests enjoyed vintage tumblers of raspberry vodka lemonade alongside the couple’s Charleston shrimp & grits station, while stemless glasses of Michelle Red Sancerre offered the perfect match to the traditional turkey carvery. And what better way to compliment the fresh ingredients of a Chef’s Grill than a pour of local brew Son of a Peach? Mini-margaritas and soft tacos proved the ultimate crowd-pleaser.

Inspired? Check out a few of our favorite Pin-worthy snapshots of this original menu from the talented Hunter McRae.
