With all the inspiration out there, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when planning your wedding day. Colors, patterns, textures, layouts, menus, cake flavors… the list goes on and on. The more inspiration we take in, and the larger our Pinterest board grows, the more the original idea for our celebration can start to blur around the edges.
This sea of information looms so large, it’s common for couples to get lost in planning the larger details and forget to include the small things that can really make your wedding yours. Over the next few months, we’re going to be taking a look at the personal touches you can incorporate throughout the planning process to take your wedding from every day to extraordinary.
Through this series, we’ll showcase some of the best ways we’ve seen these touches stamped across various weddings, all while attempting to knock out the larger details you may be stuck on with the very same stone. Take a break from fabric swatches and floral selections, and allow us to help you zero in on the finer details that will truly write your love story all across your wedding day.

While each of these items stand on their own two feet, there are several ways to combine them. For example, including watercolor images of your pets on your invitations or save the dates. Or using family heirloom vases to house your floral arrangements.

In short, none of these topics are mutually exclusive. Combining two personal touches (or more!) together is entirely up to you. Get creative with it. Our goal with this series is simply to guide you and your planner towards an idea you may not have explored yet during your planning journey.
