Winter Drink Inspo for Your Holiday Parties

Rosemary + Honey Old Fashioned

Step into the holiday season with a sophisticated twist on a classic favorite. This beloved cocktail marries the timeless allure of an Old Fashioned with the aromatic beauty of rosemary and the sweet sophistication of honey.

Ingredients:

For the Rosemary + Honey Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

½ cup honey

2 rosemary sprigs

To a small pot, add: water, honey + sugar and bring to a boil. Boil until the sugar is fully dissolved. Toss in rosemary sprigs and continue to boil for 1 minute, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Once done, allow it to completely cool, then pour into a sealed glass container (remove rosemary sprigs) and refrigerate. There will be additional for more cocktails.

For the Cocktail:

3 oz. whiskey or bourbon

1 oz. rosemary + honey simple syrup

2 dashes aromatic bitters

1 rosemary sprig, for garnish

1 orange peel, for garnish

To a cocktail glass, add: liquor, simple syrup + aromatic bitters and stir. Add 1 large ice cube. For garnish, add: 1 orange peel + 1 rosemary sprig. For those who may not have large ice cubes, see this link for the perfect addition to this cocktail.

Champagne with Cranberries

Another classic, this libation combines the bubbly elegance of champagne with the tart burst of fresh cranberries, creating a drink that is as visually stunning as it is delicious. This one is more than a drink, it’s a celebration in a glass.

Ingredients:

Prosecco (sweeter option) or Brut (dryer option)

1 spoonful fresh, washed cranberries

Pomegranate Gin Fizz

This cocktail combines the crispness of gin with the sweet and tangy notes of pomegranate accompanied by a refreshing touch of soda water. The vibrant essence of pomegranate is the perfect addition to any holiday drink. It’s deep red hue also adds a festive flair of seasonal color.

Ingredients:

For the Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

To a small pot, add: water + sugar and bring to a boil. Boil until the sugar is fully dissolved. Continue to boil for 1 minute, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Once done, allow it to completely cool, then pour into a sealed glass container and refrigerate. There will be additional for more cocktails.

2 oz. gin

0.5 oz. simple syrup

2 oz. pomegranate juice

Splash of fresh lime juice

Club soda

Fresh pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Fresh mint leaf, for garnish

To a shaker with ice, add: liquor, simple syrup + juices and shake vigorously. Pour over fresh ice in cup of choice (we recommend a coupe glass). Top with club soda, and for garnish, add pomegranate seeds atop a mint leaf.

Cranberry Moscow Mule with Lime Wheel + Rosemary

This twist on the classic Moscow mule creates a harmonious blend of flavors that is both festive and invigorating. This libation combines the zesty kick of ginger beer with the tartness of cranberry juice, garnished with a crisp lime wheel + an aromatic rosemary sprig. Serve this work of art in a glass vs. a copper mug so its bright color doesn’t go to waste, adding an easy pop of color to your party.

Ingredients:

2 oz. vodka

4 oz. cranberry juice cocktail

Fresh lime juice from ½ a lime

4 oz. ginger beer

1 rosemary sprig, for garnish

1 lime wheel, for garnish

To a shaker with ice, add: liquor, cranberry juice cocktail + juice and stir or shake gently. Pour into cocktail glass and add ginger beer. Garnish with rosemary sprig + lime wheel.
