TAYLOR MITCHELL, Lead Planner

For as long as I can remember, I have loved celebrating anything that can be! When I was young, I took notes from my mother who organized the most thoughtful parties and family gatherings — never missing a single detail.

Beginning my professional career in the 5-star, 5-diamond luxury hotel industry, I planned and coordinated events ranging from a few to several hundred guests. After getting married, my husband and I moved to Charleston – what’s not to love about the South Carolina Lowcountry?

Taylor’s approach to event planning is:

  • Personalized. I craft events specific to your preferences and budget. What you get with me is classic, but fresh.
  • Curated. Details are very important to me! I focus on both the big and small, and surprising and delighting is my superpower.
  • Friendly. I want our event planning experience to be collaborative and fun! Similar to how you might plan a party with a close friend, that is how I want our relationship to feel.
  • Seamless. Planning and coordinating can be a headache — that’s why I will do all the heavy lifting. No need to sweat the small stuff because I am already on top of it.

From intimate dinner parties to large scale weddings, my goal is to help create special memories that you and your guests will never forget.

 

EMMA KARPOVICH, Planner

When I was young, I gained a strong interest in the event industry through shows such as “Say Yes to the Dress” and “Four Weddings”. Being the hospitality hub that it is, Charleston seemed like the most logical place for me to put down permanent roots and to pursue my event planning passion. My love of the industry deepened when I started working for another local Charleston event company. There is nothing better than working with two people in love in one of the most romantic cities in the world!

It is my dream to make your wedding and event dreams come true. I pride myself on providing an enjoyable, stress-free experience for you and for your loved ones from start to finish, with precise details and personal touches included in each step of the way. The best part of my job is watching each of your unique wishes come to life from our initial call to the big day. Every event I have worked has required a different set of skills and knowledge to seamlessly bring the vision to life. No two events are the same and such my approach to planning is not always the same. I find inspiration in your individual personality and style to blend with a signature Peninsula Events touch, and my ultimate goal is to make your wedding day one of the very best days of your life.

We schedule all site visits Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, based on availability (due to the nature of our private events on the weekends, we do not host site visits on Saturdays and Sundays). Before making your travel accommodations and scheduling a visit, a customized proposal based on your event needs must be in place.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. If you are inquiring on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we are likely hosting someone’s big day and will get back to you at the first of the week!
