PPHG 2021 Events Roundup!

As 2021 comes to a close, we reflect on all the great events you’ve hosted with us over the past year. We are overjoyed for our 2021 couples, especially those who postponed due to COVID-19. We know many of you waited for your big day patiently, and we think it’s safe to say, when your day finally came, you celebrated accordingly! As a way to look back on and celebrate all the love shared in 2021, this month, PPHG is spotlighting two of our favorite rehearsal dinners and weddings from this past year.

Ann-Mechele + Jonathan resembled vintage hollywood stars at their American Theater rehearsal dinner. From the bride’s stunning red dress to the feathered centerpieces, no detail was spared. Family + friends of the couple also dressed to the nines and gathered in the theater ballroom for Champagne, dinner, and late night milk + cookies. The following day, Ann-Mechele + Jonathan made it official and tied the knot next door at the William Aiken House. Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Hall!

We also had the pleasure of hosting both Sarah + Ryan’s rehearsal dinner and wedding celebration. Just down the street at 442 King Street, Sarah + Ryan invited their loved ones to Parcel 32 for their rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Guests of the bride + groom enjoyed roasted cornish hen, followed by mini sticky toffees + chocolates for dessert. These two lit up every room as they transitioned throughout the evening, and they wed the very next day at Lowndes Grove. Happy holidays, newlyweds!

Julia + Jadaen were radiating joy on their July wedding day at Lowndes Grove. After hosting their ceremony facing the Ashley River, these two invited their guests inside the house for cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed a garlic shrimp entree for dinner and a sweets display for dessert. The bridal party looked stunning against the property’s natural backdrop of lush greens. Julia + Jadaen enjoyed a beautiful summer sunset and concluded the night cutting their cake with a sword!

Designed by PPHG’s in-house planning department, Peninsula Events, our final feature is on Myriah + James’ William Aiken House wedding. With the direction of Abby Frye, lead planner of Peninsula Events, this gorgeous couple turned the property into a dreamy October garden. Myriah + James welcomed guests with a Spicy Margarita signature cocktail and hosted dinner for their loved ones upstairs in the ballroom and on the piazza. The bride + groom looked stunning sporting their chic masks and made their grand exit by rickshaw on to King Street. And they lived happily ever after!
